I’m a video journalist currently based in Melbourne, Australia.

I’m passionate about broadcast journalism and have worked as a studio director in television news at the ABC for the past seven years.

After many years behind the camera, I felt it was time to tell my own stories. So in 2017, I retrained to become a journalist, completing the Graduate Diploma in Journalism at RMIT University.

I have reported for ABC Goulburn Murray in radio, covering rural affairs. In my time at  ABC Goulburn Murray, I reported on the fallout of the sale of Murray Goulburn, I interviewed an agronomist about the timely spring rain that turned a lot of North East Victoria’s cropping season around and I produced a radio package about the decline in global wine production and what that means for Australian grape growers.

I also interned at Channel 7 Melbourne in news and sport.

The aim is to combine my new editorial skills with my technical expertise to create compelling broadcast stories about local issues for a national audience.
